Company Profile
A well established Group of Companies in the Insurance Sector, wishes to recruit a Risk Management Officer, according to the requirements & preparation for Solvency II.
Position Requirements
Main Responsibilities include the following:
  • assisting management in its risk management efforts
  • supervising the operations of the risk management system
  • coordinating risk management efforts across the company
  • creating a consolidated view of company risks
  • identifying and assessing emerging risks
  • providing detail on risk exposure
  • regularly assessing the efficiency of the risk-management system
  • managing the ORSA process
Candidate Profile
Professional Qualifications Required:
  • Degree at postgraduate level in Finance, Insurance or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of risk management experience in insurance or banking with a detailed understanding of EU directives related to risk / solvency.
  • Thorough understanding of legal framework and risk management methodologies applied by Insurance and / or Banking institutions.
Skills Required:
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • Strong PC literacy.
  • Strong process orientation.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • High level of initiative, commitment and professionalism.
  • Planning and organizing skills.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-orientation.
  • Team spirit.
