Position Requirements
|
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the right incumbent will be responsible for the effective management of the company's accounting and taxation issues, aiming to safeguard its assets and contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives.
- Ensures that all books and records are updated and maintained in compliance with the Greek Chart of Accounts.
- Ensures timely, analysis and submission of financial data on a monthly basis, supporting monthly reporting, as well as the business evaluation and planning process.
- Manages the preparation of financial statements according to the local practices and IFRS standards.
- Keeps abreast of changes or other developments in the local tax and accounting regulations and updates the existing accounting procedures accordingly.
- Liaises with external auditors and tax authorities, representing the company to third parties and safeguarding its good reputation.
- Leads effectively the team of responsibility, providing training and coaching and motivating the staff towards efficient performance.

Candidate Profile
|
- University Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline, preferably at a postgraduate level. Certification in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within a multinational company.
- Very good knowledge of IFRS, Code of Books and Records and tax related issues.
- Eligible for A' signatory right.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- PC literacy and familiarity with ERP systems. Knowledge of SAP will be highly appreciated.
- People management experience.
- Advanced organizing skills and commitment to deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and detail and process orientation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional working standards and integrity.
