Position Requirements
|
Reporting to the CFO and supervising a team of subordinates, the right incumbent will be responsible for monitoring all accounting and tax activities, safeguarding the company's assets.
- Ensures that the company books and records are updated and maintained in compliance with the generally accepted accounting principles and tax regulations and acts proactively to that aim.
- Prepares financial statements according to local practices and standards and supports the monthly reporting process by providing accurate financial data to the financial analysis department.
- Keeps abreast of changes or other developments in the local tax and accounting regulations and updates the existing accounting procedures accordingly.
- Reviews and handles treasury and cash management issues monitoring and performing checks on transactions and issues with banks.
- Leads effectively the team of responsibility, providing training and coaching and motivating the staff towards efficient performance and job satisfaction.
- Liaises with external auditors and tax authorities, representing the company to third parties and safeguarding its good reputation.

Candidate Profile
|
- University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline, preferably at a postgraduate level.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a multinational company.
- Very good knowledge of IFRS and tax related issues.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of SAP will be highly appreciated.
- Good organizing skills and commitment to deadlines.
- Detail oriented.
- People management.
- Critical thinking and self confidence.
- Professional working standards/ Integrity.
- Communicating skills.
