Position Requirements
|
Reporting to the Machine Design & Simulation Supervisor, the right incumbent will participate in the research, design, development, implementation and improvement of the plant machinery equipment, as well as in production lines' extension and in production optimization.
- Cooperates with internal and external partners, so as to deliver results within the shortest possible time, applying respective technology.
- Implements the application of new technology to existing production lines and processes.
- Conducts market research for new, innovative techniques and technologies in the field of industrial automation and product manufacturing and makes proposals for their application.
- Collects, analyzes and monitors data from the newly installed machinery equipment during cold tests, performance tests and the start up period, aiming at the maximization of performance according to the technical specifications.
- Designs and evaluates tests, measurements, and procedures concerning Machine Development and Improvement Projects.
- Acts as Project Manager for important projects.
- Designs mechanisms and machines concerning Industrialization and Production Improvements Projects.
- Leads a Design Team supervising and monitoring designs and drawings, focusing on manufacturability, safe assembly and use.
- Develops parts' and assembly detail drawings.
- Is involved in all aspects of a project from concept to field testing.
- Supports the Production design needs.

Candidate Profile
|
- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering -mandatory-.
- Post Graduate Studies in Mechanical Engineering will be highly appreciated.
- 6-8 years of professional experience in Machine Design and Construction.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office applications, MS Project, AutoCAD, PRO/E and in Pneumatics, Mechanics, Mechanical Drawing and Tolerances.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation, Metrology and Machine Shop technologies.
- Ability to operate as a team member.
- Drive for results and attention to detail.
- Planning and organizing skills.
