Position Requirements
|
The right incumbent will be responsible for the development of new chemical formulas for cosmetics, as well as for the co-development of projects with cosmetics vendors, developing several products simultaneously in order to assist the annual launching plan.
- Develops new chemical formulas for cosmetics products.
- Executes research upon natural cosmetics ingredients.
- Sources and orders ingredients.
- Maintains ingredients sample inventory.
- Manages vendor relations.
- Creates and adheres to product development timelines.
- Works closely with the Quality Control and Production departments.
- Handles a variety of projects and participates in cross-functional teams.

|
Candidate Profile
|
- University Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in cosmetics or food industries' laboratories.
- Knowledgeable in Food and Drug Administration (FDA), European Union (EU), Japanese, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedure (SOP) regulations.
- Excellent command of the English Language and advanced PC skills.
- Strong organizing, planning and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work successfully within predetermined timeframes.
- Results orientation and proactive thinking.
- Ability to travel.
