Due to continued growth of operations, we are seeking to recruit an Advisor to join our Forensic Advisory department.
This highly specialized group will give you a unique opportunity to be exposed to a fast-paced specialization that will allow you to combine your accounting and/or audit knowledge with your forensic and investigative skills and leverage data analytic tools and techniques.
Reporting to a Manager, the appointed candidate will be actively involved in investigations, quantification of damages, litigation support, data analytics support, insurance claims quantification and similar assignments, in both the public and private sector, with a focus on learning the required skills and knowledge to progress in this dynamic and growing specialization.
KPMG Forensic helps uncover the facts and create clarity. Our professionals can offer support after an incident to help our clients investigate allegations of fraud and misconduct, quantify losses in a commercial dispute, provide expert witness services, and recover damages. We also get involved before any incident has occurred - to help address exploitable weaknesses in corporate processes and systems. Our team includes among others, investigative accountants, business valuators, analysts and forensic technology experts.
What you will do:
Assist in Client/engagement acceptance
Leverage data analytics tools and interview techniques
File organization and administration
Participate in business development activities
Administrative tasks related to the operation of KPMG Forensic
University Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related discipline, at a postgraduate level.
1-3 years of professional experience in Audit or Forensic.
Accounting knowledge and experience (IFRS and Greek GAAP).
Computer literacy (excellent Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint knowledge, Word processing).
Business writing and verbal communication skills, both in Greek and English.
Analytical, interpersonal and teaming skills. Willing to learn and work in a multicultural
Organizational skills, flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Solid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and external.
Highly driven, autonomous, resilient and team player with a strong work ethic.
