Description / Requirements


Our client is a well-established company operating in financial services and seeking to recruit a Communications Manager.

Reporting to the HR & Communications Director, the right incumbent will have an active role in the development, planning and implementation of the overall strategic and tactical brand and communication objectives of the company.

  • Suggests the communication strategy and manages its implementation.

  • Liaises with the communication agencies so as to ensure the alignment of the agencies' proposals with the company's brand & communication strategy, and the effective implementation of communications campaigns.

  • Monitors' the existing communication agencies' performance and the quality of their deliverables and negotiates service level, deadlines and fees.

  • Handles relationships with media stakeholders.

  • Defines brand & communications objectives, campaigns and budgets according to the priorities set by the annual marketing plan and ensures its effective implementation.

  • Implements the company's Public Affairs policy and ensures the effective communication of the corporate image/profile to internal and external constituencies.

  • Fosters community relations through events and leads CSR activities; organises events including press conferences.

  • Collaborates with HR team in the design and execution of Employee Branding activities.

  • Establishes an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers

  • Handles the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation.

Candidate Profile

  • University degree (preferably in Communication, Media, Marketing or Business)

  • 8-10 years of relative professional experience in an established company operating in the services, technology, banking or advertising sectors.

  • Computer literacy

  • Fluency in English

  • Analytical Thinking

  • Communication and Presentation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal ability

  • Achievement drive and results orientation

  • Ability to adjust in dynamic markets.

  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
