Our client, a well-established multinational company, is seeking to recruit a Media Planner for its offices in Northern Greece.
Reporting to the Media Manager, the right incumbent will be responsible for identifying the appropriate media channels that an advertisement should be promoted, as well as organize the placement of the client’s advertisement into these media channels (television, radio, internet).
Identify the target audiences and their characteristics / needs
Create, monitor and control media plans on a daily basis
Liaise with the media/advertising agencies to provide data based on the company's media research
Support the company in processing data/using them efficiently for media planning, monitor reports and prepare presentations
Provide input into existing and emerging communications opportunities relevant to assigned brands/category
Compile reports of competitive market/media information for each brand/category
Keep up with the latest trends in media
Support the Media Manager in the evaluation of new offers
Strategize ways to effectively use media to the greatest benefit for the business and work with the management team in the development of new communication plans
Actively participate in negotiations, as well as manage contracts, offers and invoices.
BSc degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Media or Business
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in relevant roles, within well-established media shops
Fluent in English
Very good knowledge of MS Office
Advanced communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
