NEW SIA GREECE S.A. is currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Commercial department in Greece. SIA is a European leader in the design, creation and management of technology infrastructures and services for Financial Institutions, Central Banks, Corporates and the Public Sector, in the areas of payments, cards, network services and capital markets, providing services to over 50 countries.
The successful jobholder will be responsible for:
  • Developing SIA’s financial solutions business by establishing contacts and nurturing relationships with prospects
  • Developing relationships with clients, providing support, information and guidance through relationship management and cross consulting
  • Growing portfolios by researching and recommending new opportunities and service improvements
  • Will be adept at generating his/her own leads, as well as leveraging SIA existing relationships  to source sales opportunities
  • Identifying  business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
  • Ascertaining Client’s needs –recommend  SIA’s solutions in order to match client’s needs and always represent the SIA values of embodying the highest ethical standards and treating others with dignity, respect, and genuine concern
  • Keeping up to date with all new services and solutions
  • Preparing and delivering appropriate presentations on solutions/ services. Describing services, features and benefits favorably and in a structured, professional way

Candidate profile

  • At least 3 years of prior working experience in sales, preferable in a relevant business industry
  • Bachelor's Degree or any equivalent will be highly appreciated
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Proven track record of commitment and dedication to achieving results, meeting sales goals and sales planning
  • Understanding of financial services/ solutions will be an advantage
  • Very good use of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills- Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English 
  • Understanding of financial services/ solutions will be an advantage
  • Technologically savvy; comfortable with technology and solutions and able to apply technology to help our clients
  • Ability to listen to clients, understand their needs and determine how we can help them achieve their goals
  • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects and adhere to tight timelines and deadlines
  • Must work well in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
